    Since there may be many different causes for each type of gear failure, it is not possible to prescribe just only one remedy.

    After identifying general modes of gear tooth failure, on-site gear refurbishing methods may be applied by our service engineers .

    The service includes:
    Wear steps removal at the ends of the active face and in the dedendum.
    Gear interference elimination, caused by geometric errors in the profiles of the gear teeth, plastic deformation, adhesion and abrasion engagement below the form diameter, inadequate tip or root relief or spacing errors.
    Large pits removal, caused by contact fatigue.
    End relief improvement .
